Is just that little bit of radiance I needed to lighten the the mood.

The simplest things always make me the happiest.

  1. I love it! Here's my question: where is the plug? Is there a hole in the bottom of the jar.

  3. I did this with a red wine bottle. Isn't it cool how something so simple can make us smile?

  4. I love it too...way better than lights strewn perfectly around the house.

  5. Jen, no the lights just trail out the jar, around the back of the shelf and to the plug in back of the couch. Strangely easy and as crafty as I ever get.

    Janet, Thank you:) me too!

Steve, could you that would be pretty stupendous!

Hartwood Roses, you put the lights in the bottle? How long a strand I wonder...

Sarah, Right? Too messy for me! And house too small!

I joined your Flower in the house party...you know I never miss a party of yours...and why have I never added little twinkle lights to a jar....it's like magic! Candle light and twinkle lights...that's all it takes to make me happy...well that and a glass of wine! Cheers!

  13. This is such a lovely touch. I saw this in a boutique the other day and thought, I want one of these and I want it up all year round! They'd kind of be like fireflies in a jar in the summer, non?
