The Pot(s) Is Smoking

Oblivious to  my snarky post ( thanks I needed that)  and irritating work moments the garden is doing it's June thing. And doing it beautifully.

We had a choleus love moment in May and the crazy colors and patterns have returned the favour.

We also have a big crush on the Swedish Ivy spilling out of the Mandevilla vine .

This is also known as Plectranthus, but not to us. We just call it Swedish ivy.

Oh don't let me forget to get to the heart of the matter in the June garden.

Undeterred by the gypsy moths nibbling at its leaves grows some nights dinner.

Our first cauliflower.

Can you imagine how good this is going to taste?

Work? What's that?

  2. That cauliflower is gorgeous, as are the rest of your plants. Coleus plants always remind me of my grandmother on my father's side. She was always making cuttings and starting new plants. She gave them away and her apartment was filled with them. The variations of Coleus leaf colors and patterns are so pretty.

  4. Lots of blooming happening in your garden. I thought for a second you were going to give away the cauliflower. Now that would be some prize!

  6. The petunias and coleus is an impressionist painting. What a harmony of color.

  7. The cauliflower looks yummy. Also, those are probably not gypsy moths (that climb up woody trees & shrubs) but green cabbage moths.

  11. Dear Jane, I thought your last post was funny and just sounded like someone who has a job servicing and dealing with people. It gave me chuckles. My niece actually had a small bouquet at her communion. It was very pretty but had me worried about what will happen come prom time. Enjoy your garden!
