Snow Falling On Pansies

Ah, the rites of spring.


Today is out of my control.  GG's brunch went from a manageable size to 18 adults and 2 children.  It will now be standing room only.
 
I have just come down with a cold.  And it's snowing.



When I come to your houses tomorrow perhaps you'll offer a little tea and sympathy?  Or at the very least a kleenex?

    A virtual visit is germ-free, so of course you can have anything you want in my house, and a big wet virtual lick from Florence. That's bound to help. x

    oh man i hate it when it snows, i catch a cold and the party gets too big all in one day. ok, that's never happened to me but i truly do sympathize with you jane. if it's an consolation the pansies/snow pic is gorgeous.

    I don't think you want to come to my house...it's freezing cold and I have a fever this morning! We could share the couch though and the box of kleenex and hope someone makes us a cup of tea!

    And my cold/bronchitis is hanging on more than four weeks after it started . . .

    The snow bypassed us here in Greensboro, but it did touch the county north of us (isn't it spring?), but it is only 36 now and drizzling and will stay overcast all week. And my roses are budding!

    4 and a 1/2 hour brunch over. House cleaned, dishes washed, nap taken, now I get to read all your comments.

    If virtual sympathy could heal you I'd be a new woman!

    Tomorrow chicken soup. Licorice root tea? Really? Hmmm, maybe, if I can find some.
