No Regrets

Oh mes amis,
Day after day of freezing winds and snow.

Nothing to do, nowhere to go.

I've read the NYT (Sunday, old news) and a book or two.

And clearly, Je suis en train d'apprendre le francais..
I even ventured outside with Jane to move the snow around????
Such strange things she does.
Leave it, I told her, come inside, it will do fine by itself.
So she came inside and moved furniture around.
Sigh.
Bored, bored, bored...
Oh, there's Lucy.
 What's up pussycat?
Well that was invigorating.

I feel more like myself.

Time for a little cat nap and then I'll catch the 9:00PM viewing of Jules And Jim.

Bonne nuit.

  1. Life from Gus's perspective is hoot! This snow was almost a joy to move around ... not heavy, easy to sweep, over and done with in no time.

    1. Oui Susan, I try to be welcoming. But I must also be tough. I am, as you say, the only man in the house.

    1. Denise, I borrowed it from Jane. It was well written but rather sad, with a dash of hope.

    2. I see. In that case, this one might have to wait. I'm deep in sad with the current book I'm reading, Enon. I need a little sunshine. You know what I mean? I hope you are all enjoying a happy evening.
