Sunday Supper

The sun rose on the winter solstice of 2013 bringing with it temperatures in the 60's.

I did not hate this.

Today is in the 70's with rather startling outbursts of rain.

In between the storms the cats are prowling the grounds.

Gus is enjoying the sled.

And Lucy is squirrel hunting. Again.

And here I was mulling over what to cook for dinner.

  1. I love the sled!

The weather i weird here too, balmy. I am happy that the ice on my driveway (and everywhere else) has melted.

SO Lucy is the hunter in the family...

    1. She is indeed. Even if Gus "gets" something, she takes it away from him Poor poppet.

  2. I'm with Jen on the sled, beautiful arrangement. Looks so christmasy in this balmy weather, we're at mid 60's, all the snow disappeared and we had a bunch. Weird. I don't think Lucy will bring dinner home, apparently she's a peeping tom (cat) Ha ha.

    1. Oh not peeping at all, she was just poised to run up the tree after the little guy. One day she was caught between two, I had to go inside. Too panic making.

  7. Mad weather, isn't it! Torrential rain here, floods everywhere, and we have our sandbags and flood board in place at the front of the house as the brook bursts its wall in several places.
Wishing you and yours a lovely Christmas, regardless of the weather. x
