I've been picking flowers from my garden throughout the year, although the pickings are getting a little thin and rather repetitive now - lots of sedum, I can't bear to cut any of my anemones, though they do look lovely in the vase. You always take it to the next level, but I now look at just about anything in my yard as a possibility...well except leaves of three. I'm pretty sure we have some poison ivy or oak...something to stay away from anyway.
